The Palmetto Library Consortium offers a Digital Media Library to all library patrons. This library includes both audio books and ebooks (regular books in digital format). Browse the catalog to find audio-books or e-books that you can download, burn, or transfer to a portable device, including Kindles and Nooks. If you are using a Kindle or Nook, we have handy directions on the bar to the left.

Click here to check out the digital catalog!

*NEW* The Georgetown County Library Main Branch and Waccamaw Branch now each have a Digital Download Station. You may log in to the Overdrive catalog using your library card, and download audio or digital books to your personal e-reader (Kindle, Nook, Sony, etc.), a CD, an MP3 player, or iPad device.

You can also access the Overdrive catalog from your home computer, using your library card.

*COMPATIBILITY* Materials from the Overdrive catalog are in a variety of formats. Not all books will be compatible with all portable devices. Please check your device's manual to determine what file formats are compatible with your device.

*TECHNOLOGY ISSUES?* Contact Shannon Edwards in Computer Services (843-545-3301) to answer your questions!

You can also stop by the Digital Download station in our Computer Services area for staff assistance, or you can make an appointment with a reference librarian through our Book-A-Librarian program for one-on-one assistance.
