Visit us on Facebook! Georgetown Library Heritage Center
The Heritage Center is a beautiful new addition to the Georgetown Library on Cleland Street.
Formerly a giant bed of ivy, this space was enclosed and transformed into a state of the art video viewing hall with seven flat screen televisions, café seating, wifi access, a changing display of historic photos and artwork, and refreshments.
A digital video center allows you to choose from over 300 locally-produced videos on Georgetown County’s most interesting people, places and events. Choose from memories of World War II or the Great Depression, mini-documentaries about antebellum churches and buried treasure, spotlights on local artists and so much more.
Our hours are: Monday through Thursday, 10 am - 6 pm.
