Following the directive of Georgetown County government, and in an effort to protect residents and employees from contact with the COVID-19 virus, all library branches in Georgetown County will be closed to the public until further notice. Please note:

1) Patrons can check for updates on this website or can call with questions (843) 545-3300 (Georgetown), (843) 545-3623 (Waccamaw), (843) 545-3621 (Andrews), or (843) 545-3515 (Carvers Bay).

2) You can still return books in the outside drop off, and they will be checked back in daily. You can also call to have your book renewed or renew on our website: https://georgetowncountylibrary.sc.gov/get-book. PLEASE NOTE: Fines are frozen while the libraries are closed. If you do not want to return your book or have run out of renewals, you will not incur fines.
