In order to provide service to patrons on a wide variety of research and technological topics, Georgetown County Library is now offering one-on-one training sessions through the Book-A-Librarian program.
Patrons can reserve a thirty or sixty minute block of time with a Reference Librarian to receive assistance with research, using library resources, or catching up on the latest technologies. There are morning, afternoon, and early evening hours available each week to accommodate your schedule.
If you have your own laptop, Kindle, iPad, or other device and would like instruction on how to use it, please feel free to bring it with you to your appointment. Otherwise, the library will provide a computer for you to use to conduct research, use specific software, or learn computer basics.
Reserve an appointment by stopping at the Reference Desk of the Main Branch library to fill out a request form, or by calling the Reference Desk at (843)545-3302 to check availabilities.
